In case you still didn't know studs are in fashion

Hace dos años las tiendas estaban llenas de prendas navy y de estampados florales. El año pasado nos invadió el encaje. Esta primavera ha triumfado el peplum. Y ahora, con el frío, parece que necesitamos algo más duro, más cañero: las tachas. No paro de verlas por todos lados a modo de invasión. En algunas prendas aportan un toque rockero que crea contraste, en otras son un toque demasiado evidente y, en otras... es un intento de hacer la prenda más comercial estando completamente off topic.

Os quiero mostrar una fotos de prendas y accesorios con tachas que he ido recopilando de modo casi obsesivo.

 

Two years ago shops and magazines were full of navy and floral prints. Last year we were invaded by lace. Last Spring peplum successed. And now that it is cooler we need something heavier and rocker such as studs. Studs are everywhere. In some clothes they look perfect, in some others they seem to be out off topic.

I wanted to show you some pictures of studded clothes and accesories which I have been collecting in an almost obssessive way.

Por lo que a mi respecta, me declaro enamorada de los salones/sandalias (que serán míos algún día, lo sé), los bolsos de mano y las cazadoras (éstas dos últimas prendas me resisto a comprarlas, me convence más el reto de hacerlos a mi gusto y que sean prendas únicas).

 

Por último sólo me queda decir que no es necesario ser un visionario para saber que más temprano que tarde acabaremos aburridos de tanta tachuela, ¿o no?

 

I surrender to studded heels  -which will be mine sooner than latter, to biker jackets and clutches - which I am willing to make them by my own so that they are unique. Btw, studded nails are too much, aren't they?

 

As far as I concern, I think that sooner ot later we will fed up of what I will call 'The stud invasion'.

Mustard + militar

Encontré esta chaqueta en el armario de la misma manera que llegó a mi, por casualidad. Me la dieron y no le había hecho mucho caso hasta ahora que lo militar invade las tiendas. Me recuerda mucho a las que llevaba Coldplay en "Viva la Vida", así que seguro que le doy un buen uso. Utilicé este look para ir al hospital, cómodo y con el toque colorido que le dan las bailarinas. 

I found this jacket in my closet the same way it came to me, casuality. My cousin gave it to me and I didn't wear it since this autumn because militar trend is in every shop you look. It reminds me of Coldplay's in "Viva la Vida". It's a hospital look, comfy and colorful because of the shoes.
